Look how you’ve made all your devoted lovers to flourish like palm trees, each one growing in victory, standing with strength! You’ve transplanted them into your heavenly courtyard, where they are thriving before you, for in your presence they will still overflow and be anointed. Even in their old age they will stay fresh, bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully.”

~ Psalms‬ ‭92‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

About Our Founder

Fleri Cheri’s founder, Angelica Mourges has been a resident and advocate in the vibrant country of Haiti for over five years. Her connection to Haiti began in a deeply personal way. Following her college graduation, she visited to meet a young boy whose education she had been sponsoring. This visit altered the course of her life, shifting her initial plan of teaching in the U.S. to dedicating herself to educational and community development in Haiti.

Initially, Angelica’s work involved training teachers for a school within an orphanage, utilizing her skills to facilitate learning in a budding educational environment. Her passion and commitment then led her to a Christian English school in the capital, where she taught for 3 years.

After spending 5 years in the capital, she had the opportunity to move to Cap Rouge, a rural mountain area, where she served as the Education Director of a local Haitian school. It was here and while working at a community center hosting Bible studies and English classes, that she encountered a stark gender disparity: few girls were able to attend due to heavy domestic responsibilities. This realization ignited a new mission in her—to empower Haitian women and girls, helping them to achieve holistic flourishing beyond traditional roles.

Through Fleri Cheri’s programs and initiatives, Angelica aims to create a nurturing environment where women and girls in Haiti can be empowered spiritually, guiding them to discover their true identity and value as defined by the Lord. Join her in this mission to make a lasting impact on the lives of women and their children in the Southern part of Haiti.
